1. Ignore your feelings when they say to put walls … and actively decide to build a bridge instead.
2. Don’t compare yourself to others, or attack yourself. Appreciate your talents and the things that make you “you.”
3. Pay attention to your thoughts when you feel anxious or afraid. Imagine being successful, and relaxed, and popular.
4. Focus on what’s best in others; validate their gifts and strengths.
5. Avoid touchy topics; don’t be boring or offensive; and notice when it’s time to let another take the stage.
6. Try to focus more on others and the things that interest them. Avoid the trap of talking about me, me, me!
7. Be genuine and real – as that puts others at their ease … and others are more likely to be natural as well.
nearly any one can be a man of God and a woman of God these days its very popular. Man made religion yes with the holy bible. just because a person as a title and as a bible doesn’t make them a person of God.. Everyone wants a position in leadership to feel wanted and loved and be behind a pulpit to have importance, this is so out of context from how Jesus is …. yes many pastors and religious people today got degrees and titles from this world not from God, you don’t need a degree from bible college or a man made title to know Jesus. many are deceived today twisting God’s word to suit them and make people do things by using the bible.. man made religion is dangerous its turning tons of people far away from Jesus and pointing them to this world. the holy bible is dangerous in the wrong hands.. a true man and woman of God is humble and kind and walks in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and the holy spirit leads and guides true man and women of God.. we are students of the holy Spirit. He is our teacher. He teaches you in the ways of love..
They may call you weird for not following the crowd, but walking the less popular path and following Jesus is worth it all.
If God sets out to make you an unusual Christian He is not likely to be as gentle as He is usually pictured by the popular teachers. A sculptor does not use a manicure set to reduce the rude, unshapely marble to a thing of beauty. The saw, the hammer and the chisel are cruel tools, but without them the rough stone must remain forever formless and unbeautiful.
At some point, you’ll have to decide if you want to be popular or you want to serve God.
I’d rather be anointed than popular.
There are too many people following the crowd and not enough desiring to follow the dream God put within them. Life is not looking out at what’s popular and what everyone else is doing, life’s about living from within. Stay focus on the call of God on you life. So what if others don’t cheer you on or support you. You don’t need them… you got God to encourage you and support you…. Remember look within, Live from inside out.
